Noisy Ritual is looking for a passionate kitchen leader to run our vibrant space!
Are you ready to lead a kitchen that’s all about casual, delicious food with room to get creative? We’re looking for a permanent part-time Kitchen Lead / Chef to join our solid, fun core team - 28-30 hours a week, Thursday to Saturday, plus events.
At Noisy Ritual, we serve fuss-free food that matches our wines and our vibe: loud, lively, and approachable. You’ll be running the kitchen alongside our Head Chef / Venue Manager, putting your stamp on the menu (including our popular Pasta Thursdays), and cooking up dishes that keep our guests coming back.
As a small team, we all pitch in and support each other - so you’ll be happy to jump in where needed to keep things running smoothly.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Running the kitchen with confidence, creativity, and a cool head during service
- Prepping and plating food for both regular service and private events
- Collaborating with the team to keep our menu evolving and exciting
- Staying on top of kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and food safety standards
- Ordering and managing stock from our trusted local suppliers
- Working hand-in-hand with FOH so service feels seamless for guests
- Pitching in wherever needed - we’re a small team and we’ve all got each other’s backs
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a busy kitchen, ideally with some leadership under your belt (or ready to step up)
- A knack for creating simple, delicious dishes with seasonal ingredients
- Someone who can switch between solo shifts and working as part of a tight-knit crew
- Calm and organised when things get busy - with a good sense of humour to match
- Happy to work weekends and roll with the mix of regular service and event catering
- A genuine love of food, wine, and creating a great time for our guests
