Assistant Venue Manager - Umberto Espresso Bar & Gigi Rooftop

 The role consists of:

• Supporting the venue manager across multiple businesses giving you variety and accountability
• Up to 30 hours per week as a Casual with a view to going Permanent Part Time
• Daily operations of the venue
• Responsibilities over rostering and COGS, satisfying targets
• Stock management
• Attending regular management meetings and facilitating team training
• Recruitment
• 70/30 split between service & admin
• Using our integrated operating systems that underpin the above tasks

The role will require :

• At least 2 years’ experience in hospitality management
• Wine knowledge is essential
• Attention to detail with excellent communication skills essential
• An ability to see the bigger picture
• Knowledge of Italian food and beverage would be advantageous
• the frequent use and application of computers and systems is a non negotiable
