Restaurant Manager

 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations. The successful candidate will oversee daily restaurant activities, maintain exceptional service standards, manage staff performance, and ensure operational efficiency in a fast-paced fine dining environment.

 

Broadly your role will be responsible for:

 

  • Overseeing all daily restaurant operations and service delivery
  • Leading, training, and motivating front-of-house staff
  • Maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction and handling customer feedback professionally
  • Managing reservations, seating plans, and special events
  • Monitoring staff rosters, payroll, and labour costs
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and management team to deliver seamless service
  • Maintaining inventory and coordinate supplier orders

 

Skills & Experience

 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in restaurant management, preferably in fine dining
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Sound knowledge of food, wine, and premium service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software
  • RSA certification required
  • Evening and weekend availability

Trade Waiters

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Trade Waiter to join our front-of-house team. This role is ideal for someone with strong fine dining experience, excellent presentation, and a genuine passion for customer service.

Broadly your role will be responsible for:

  • Delivering exceptional table service in a fine dining environment
  • Maintaining detailed knowledge of menu offerings, wine lists, and daily specials
  • Providing professional food and beverage recommendations to guests
  • Ensuring tables are set and maintained to premium standards
  • Working closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service
