About Us:
The Trustee for Rudraa Trust operates a vibrant and welcoming dining establishment in the heart of Ocean Grove. We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team and create exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with our menu and quality standards.
- Develop and design new menu items, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients.
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation and plating.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize food waste.
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance.
Requirements:
- Formal culinary qualifications (Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent).
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a chef in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety, and sanitation standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional food.
