Moama Bowling Club is a stunning multi-purpose dining, conference, entertainment and sporting venue, situated along the beautiful Murray River. We are now seeking a highly motivated, energetic Food & Beverage Operations Manager to join our team.
This role has responsibility for multiple food and beverage outlets within the Club including Junction and our new development EMBR. Mentoring, training and developing the front of house team, as well as setting performance standards and directing everyday activities across all areas will be the main focus areas. Another key aspect of the role will be meeting financial objectives, monitoring budgets and controlling expenses with a focus on food, beverage and labour costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- To manage Junction, EMBR and MBC in a “hands on” capacity ensuring it is the benchmark in the district renowned for great service, fantastic contemporary food & beverage
- To exceed guests’ expectations in all things hospitality including providing fantastic background mood music
- Continue to develop the brand by growing sales through the implementation of approved innovative operational changes including marketing strategies.
- Maintain a culture of excellence in all areas of the operation by recruiting, training, mentoring & retaining passionate hospitality professionals
Essential Skills Required:
- You’re experienced at managing high performing teams and mentoring leaders
- You’re a passionate foodie who has a keen interest in current industry trends
- You understand and strive for exceptional customer service across all areas
- You’re available days, nights and weekends
- Impeccable presentation and communication skills
- Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification (NSW)
